By speaking these two words together, he became Doodhadhari and the monastery established by him came to be called Doodhadhari Barfani. After the Brahma Samadhi of that saint, this ashram was established as per his wish.
This temple was under the patronage of Maharaja Raghuraoji Bhonsale of Nagpur. He issued a royal charter according to which the head of Sri Doodhadhari Math would be honored with the title of "Rajashri". Due to this order, the first Mahant of the Math became Rajshree Mahant Balabhadradas ji.
