Best Time to Visit - Rudraprayag Tourist Places

Rudraprayag is visited by tourists in large numbers during the summer months from March to June. The weather is pleasant during this period. During this period, the day temperature remains between 20°C to 30°C. During this time, the natural beauty and blooming rhododendrons are at their peak.

Rudraprayag receives heavy rains during July to September; trekking and other activities here can be quite risky due to land slides. It is advisable to avoid visiting Rudraprayag during monsoon.

October to November is a good time to visit Rudraprayag. During this time the weather here is clear and pleasant but starts getting a little cold. Due to the clear sky, a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains can be seen during this time.

Rudraprayag experiences very cold weather and heavy snowfall during the months of December to February. During this period, the day temperature ranges between 0°C to 15°C, and the night temperature can fall below zero. Due to heavy snowfall, Kedarnath temple and many other religious places in the area remain closed during this period.
